Position Overview
As the ESG Analyst, you will be playing a vital role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.
The role reports to Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and works closely with Head of Sustainability & ESG for a successful implementation and integration of ESG data into standard reporting.
Key Responsibilities and Competencies
- Develop, implement and continually improve an overall strategy for the collection, analysis, management, and maintenance of sustainability related data and metrics.
- Produce reports and visualizations to communicate ESG data to internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Conduct in-depth analysis with your modelling skills and derive insights from multiple data sets, making recommendations based on findings.
- Collaborate with various teams, including ESG and financial reporting, to integrate ESG data into decision-making processes.
- Staying up to date on reporting regulations, compliance obligations and industry trends & developments
Requirements of Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background with experience in ESG or sustainability-related fields.
- Experience in working with complex data sets, financial modelling and reporting frameworks will be viewed favorably.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ESG information to diverse stakeholders.
- High attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PowerBI and other modelling tools for analysis, review.
